The U-Belong Learnership and Development Programme is an exciting initiative hosted by T3 Telecoms SA, a South African distribution and technology company that provides a wide range of telecommunication products and services to both formal and informal markets.
Launched in August 2021, the U-Belong Programme focuses on job creation, education, and bridging the digital divide in South Africa. Since its launch, the programme has successfully employed more than 3,000 motivated young people across the country.
The programme is designed to equip participants with valuable sales and operational skills while providing previously unemployed individuals with the opportunity to earn and maintain a sustainable monthly income. Through this initiative, participants are empowered to become active contributors to the mainstream economy.
Over the next 24 months, the programme will expand into additional provinces across South Africa, with Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and the Western Cape identified as key growth areas.
The U-Belong Learnership Programme aims to create more than 2,500 new job opportunities. Beyond employment, the programme also focuses on empowering participants with entrepreneurial skills that may prepare them to eventually own and manage their own SME distribution businesses.
Requirements:
• Must have passed Grade 10, 11, or 12
• Must possess a valid South African ID
• Must be a South African citizen
