Managed People Solutions is offering an exciting 12-month Retail Sales Learnership Programme with one of our clients in the health and wellness retail industry. If you enjoy working with people, have a passion for customer service and want to gain valuable retail experience while earning a nationally recognized qualification, this opportunity is for you!
Programme Overview
This is a Retail Sales Learnership Programme where learners will gain practical workplace experience while studying towards the National Occupational Certificate: Sales Representative (NQF Level 4).
The programme combines structured learning with hands-on work experience, allowing you to develop valuable retail sales, customer service, and merchandising skills while earning a nationally recognized qualification. Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will be awarded the National Occupational Certificate: Sales Representative (NQF Level 4).
Position Details
Job Title: Retail Sales Intern
Programme Duration: 12 Months
Stipend: R3,500 per month
Locations
We are looking for candidates who live close to any of the following areas:
Eastgate, Menlyn, Sandton, Vaal, East Rand, Maponya, Westgate, Mall of Africa, Centurion, Greenstone, Wonder Park, Soshanguve, The Glen, Fourways, Springs, Irene, Alberton, Benoni, and Wonderboom.
What You’ll Do
As a Retail Sales Intern, you will receive hands-on training and practical experience while working in a professional retail environment. You will learn how to:
Deliver excellent customer service.
Assist customers in finding the right health and wellness products.
Build strong product knowledge and confidently recommend suitable products.
Develop professional sales and communication skills.
Help achieve individual and store sales targets.
Support daily store operations, stock management, and merchandising.
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Learn about retail performance, business operations, and customer engagement.
Work alongside experienced mentors who will coach and support your growth throughout the programme.
