Position Overview
The Multi Skilled Employee will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with various operational activities within the cinema.
The successful candidate may be required to work across different areas, including ticket sales, food and beverage services, customer assistance, and general cinema operations. The role provides an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience and develop transferable skills.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate may be required to:
- Sell movie tickets and assist customers with ticket enquiries.
- Prepare and serve popcorn, beverages, slushes, and other refreshments.
- Operate food and beverage counters.
- Assist customers throughout the cinema.
- Maintain clean and organised workstations, counters, kitchens, and customer areas.
- Ensure food products are stored appropriately.
- Prepare workstations before the commencement of shifts.
- Promote cinema specials and promotional offers.
- Maintain professional promotional displays and posters.
- Follow all applicable health and safety procedures.
- Wear the required company uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 0–1 year of work experience. Previous experience will be an advantage but is not essential.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge or experience of VISTA or MYCC systems will be an added advantage.
