The main responsibility of this position is to ensure comprehensive customer service in the store.
This includes loading and merchandising stock, labeling shelf prices, and maintaining cleanliness within the designated area of responsibility.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have a minimum of one year of work-related experience or have completed grade 12.
Additionally, you must be able to communicate effectively in both English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available.
You must also be able to perform basic calculations accurately, work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and work well under pressure.

Customer Service:
As part of your duties, you will need to acknowledge all customers and determine their needs. You must be able to advise customers correctly on products and help them with any queries they may have.
You will also need to address customer complaints in a timely manner and suggest add-on sales, such as paint brushes or thinners to complement their purchases.
It is important to handle customers‘ purchases with care to avoid any damage to the goods or their vehicle.
Additionally, inform customers about the various services offered such as delivery, bulk deposits, glass cutting, plan reading, credit programs, special orders, trusses, distant ordering and VIC customer program.
It is necessary to have a certification in product knowledge and be available in the aisle of responsibility.
Keep the area clean and free of obstacles, ensure prompt merchandising of stock and make sure customers can easily access and exit your aisle without any inconvenience.
Lastly, ensure that the shelf price labeling within your area of responsibility is accurate.
