Minimum Conditions

Grade 10
Peer preceptors should be ex or current people who have used or fitted medicines as they’re a ‘ peer’ and have thus endured the environment, and challenges faced by PWID/ PWUD
Minimum 1 year work experience in the – PWID Community or experience as a peer preceptor

• Fluent in English and other languages
  Clear felonious record

Duties and liabilities

• Distribution of detriment reduction packs and safer coitus goods
• Give accurate health information to PWID/ PWUD on detriment reduction and safe edging in practices, HIV/ AIDS, Hepatitis, TB, SRH and mortal rights
  Link and or relate PWID/ PWUD living with HIV or TB for treatment to the mobile nanny / drop in centre or nearest health installation Insure HIV negative PWID/ PWUD are regularly tested and are encouraged to uptake PrEP as HIV forestallment system.
• Promote cerebral support, referral to social services and follow- up
  Recruit PWID/ PWUD for Opioid Substitution Therapy( OST) and complete eligibility criteria
• Identify women who fit medicines and give quality packs
