Empowering Rural Youth: Long Term Insurance Unemployed Learnership Programme 2024
AVBOB, in collaboration with INSETA, is proud to announce the launch of the Long Term Insurance Unemployed Learnership Programme, NQF Level 4, in Kwazulu Natal.
This exciting initiative aims to provide young individuals from rural areas with the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the long-term insurance industry.
Programme Overview
The learnership is a 9-12 month programme that combines theoretical learning with practical work experience. Participants will have the opportunity to work in AVBOB’s offices in Kwazulu Natal, gaining hands-on experience in the long-term insurance sector. Upon completion of the programme, learners will receive a registered qualification.
Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must:
– Be between the ages of 18 and 35
– Have a valid matric certificate with English, Mathematics or Maths Literacy, and Accounting
– Be willing to work in AVBOB’s offices in Kwazulu Natal
– Have no prior learnerships attended
– Not be engaged in any other studies from 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2025
– Be a South African citizen
– Reside in the mentioned provinces (Mtubatuba, Jozini, Kwangwanase, Pongola)
– Possess basic computer skills
– Provide a letter from the ward counselor from the rural area
