Position Overview:
Pick n Pay is looking for dedicated and customer-oriented Cashiers to join our team in Gauteng. Key Responsibilities:
- Process transactions using our POS system.
- Handle cash, provide refunds, and balance the till.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Upsell products and services where appropriate.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare and manage the float.
- Operate the till and scanner accurately and efficiently during customer checkouts.
- Receive and process all forms of payment and transactions.
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages.
- Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and safe working standards.
- Adhere to and maintain security procedures.
- Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards.
- Interact with customers courteously and respond to their queries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 qualification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
