Mall@55 is in need of an experienced cleaner on behalf of Dis-Chem Pharmacies. You will be accountable for keeping the store tidy and clean in accordance with Dis-Chem’s hygienic requirements. The designated areas shall comprise the stockroom, canteen, storeroom, dispensary, and administrative office.
Minimum Requirements…
Grade 12
Six months of minimum cleaning experience
Proficiency in the English language Fundamental customer service
Additional language that is region-specific
Capable and willing to work retail hours
Job Duties:
Establish and maintain daily standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the store, including the shop floor and common areas, prior to the store’s opening.
Formulate systematic procedures to guarantee that every area of the establishment is consistently maintained at an elevated level of cleanliness.
Constantly ensure that the canteen and restrooms are stocked with the required supplies and are kept clean.
Make yourself accessible during all operational hours to assist with cleanup as needed.
Ensure that cleaning equipment and products are utilized appropriately for each task.
When cleaning the floor, guarantee that the wet floor sign is elevated and noticeable from both ends.
Be cordial, competent, and capable of aiding patrons.
Execute responsibilities in adherence to health and safety regulations.
