We have an exciting opprtunity for a diligent and proactive Health and Safety Officer to join our team. The Health and Safety officer will oversee adherence to HSE policies and procedures at TsAfrika managed sites as well as conducting site inspections and compiling incident reports. We are lookimg for someone who can communicate effectively with people at every level of the organiosation. Previous experience in a food production industry is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

Co-ordinates and controls investigation and inspection procedures / applications.

Executes procedures and applications associated with promoting and maintaining Health and Safety

awareness at the sites

Ensures statutory requirements are complied with and concerns, methodologies and approaches impacting

Skills and Competencies

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of Management

Ability to plan, organise and control own work effort.

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Tertiary Qualification Essential

SAMTRAC and /or a recognised Health & Safety Qualification

2 years job related experience

Experience in managing a SHE system

Knowledge of all OSH Act Policies and Procedures
