Job Purpose
To perform cleaning and/or refuse bin delivery tasks. These tasks may include street cleaning, stacking, sweeping, lane flushing, carcass removal, bin deliveries, and other general duties.
Duties
Litter pick-up, street sweeping, removing stickers and pamphlets from street furniture, poles, and road signs, cleaning informal settlements, and working with clean-up programs in collaboration with City Departments are all examples of community service.
Waste loading onto trucks
Pikitup garbage bags/bin liners are distributed to informal settlements.
Ezoic
Locate, eliminate, and clean up illegal dumping areas.
When a bag breaks, spills must be cleaned up.
Inform the supervisor of any incidents involving safety, equipment, or injuries.

Conduct environmental education and awareness campaigns in your community.
Requirements
Grade 10
Ezoic
Must be physically and mentally fit
No criminal record
Must be South African
Ezoic
Police Clearance
Reside within the City of Johannesburg
Minimum Experience
Ezoic
12 months of relevant or similar knowledge (Advantageous)
Skills And Competencies
Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment and procedures
Understanding of relevant legislation; knowledge of relevant company procedures
