An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a P40 within Tekkie Town, Woodmead.This role will report directly to the Store Manager of Tekkie Town. Our ideal candidate should be based in Woodmead or surrounding areas.

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the profitability of Tekkie Town by maximising sales through GREAT customer service through merchandising, stock replenishment, house-keeping and efficient processing of transactions.

Qualifications

Grade 12

Computer Literate, MS Office – proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, et

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Sales Assistant role in the retail sector.

Fluent (written and verbal) in English and another official South African language relevant.

Strong interpersonal and selling skills.

Must be willing to work retail hours.

A strong logical thinking and analytical ability.

Has a high energy level and is performance-driven?

Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player.

Ability to lead and drive a team.

Strong leadership and organisational abilities.

Outstanding customer care skills, the ability to interact and communicate with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Greet all customers upon entry and thank all customers once they have left the store.

Provide friendly, helpful and enthusiastic customer service at all times.

Attend to unique and individual shopping needs of each Customer.

Ensure that Customers receive prompt and relevant service on the sales floor and by telephone

Achieve Customer loyalty by ensuring Customers are aware of the Tekkie Town tender types, such as the Tekkie Town Account Card and the Lay-Bye process.

Have the ability to communicate your knowledge of products to customers.

Keep up to date with the latest promotions and campaigns that are launched in store.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand all the processes regarding stock handling and that you adhere to the standards set by Tekkie Town.
